John 1:14 (NLT) — 14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

Why memorize? I have heard it said that it is important to eat a good breakfast. It jump starts your metabolism, wakes you up, gets all the body systems working and gives you the energy you need to face your day. As important as breakfast is to your physical body so your spirit needs a good breakfast to keep an excellent outlook on the day ahead. Here is an example of a Healthy Spiritual Shake:

Start with Psalm 118:24 > this is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. And continue on with(1John 4:4) “greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world,(Isaiah 54:17) no weapon formed against me can prosper, (Psalm 34:7)the angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,(Psalm 17:8) I am the apple of God’s eye, (Romans 8:28)all things work together for my good,(Romans 8:37) I am more than a conqueror in Jesus, (Romans 8:38)nothing can separate me from the love of God,(Deut. 28:13) I am the head not the tail, I am above not below, (Psalm 23:3)the lord guides me along the right paths,(!Cor.2:16) I have the mind of Christ,(1Peter 2:24) by his wounds I have been healed, (Psalm 84:11)no good thing does he withhold from those who do what is right.

Don’t let the enemy talk you out of a good Breakfast:)

Given we are still in winter and it stays dark too long Psalm 119’s advice of having his word be a light to our path helps.
