Psalm 77:19 (NLT) — 19 Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters— a pathway no one knew was there!

God sees the unseen. He saw a path through the Red Sea that no one else saw. He had to part the water so the people could see it. There seemingly was no way for Abraham to have a son and yet God saw a way. Nobody saw any reason for Noah’s ark to float but God saw it. The oddsmakers in Vegas wouldn’t have given Gideon a snow balls chance in a fire of defeating Midian. He was outnumber 300 to 1, but God saw a way. The widow who made a cake for Elijah saw every bit of her oil and flour used in the cake. She saw no way but starvation and yet God saw a way.

Nobody would have dreamed that Daniel’s three friends would have walked out of the fiery furnace, but God saw a way. Or that Daniel would still be alive and untouched in the morning having been in the lion’s den overnight, but God saw a way. And how about David defeating Goliath; ‘yes way’ with God. Do you think anyone bet on Jesus rising from the dead except for God?

The point of the Psalm is never ever give up on God. He always has a way that only we can see. We must trust His eyesight and not our own.

Exodus 15:11 (NLT) — 11 “Who is like you among the gods, O Lord— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?

Are you in a situation where you can’t see a way? Great, that is where the Lord wants you. Now He can show Himself as the Sovereign Lord.

  1. Mary Anne Frank says:

The last few weeks I have been anxious about something I have no control over. I keep looking at the ‘what ifs’. About 4 nights ago I was awake in the night worried again. I started thinking about all of times God has been faithful to me, my family and to my friends. His word constantly reminds me that He is faithful. I realized that my worrying served no purpose but to make me anxious. I began to praise Him for His faithfulness and now find myself trusting Him with the situation. I’m so grateful for His word that always points me to His truth. I can trust Him because He is faithful ….always!!
