It is Cleo’s 71st birthday today so here is a weekend slice of cake:

Psalm 50:23 (NLT) — 23 But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

Don’t be set in your ways be set in God’s ways. His way or path is the way of Thanksgiving. Gratitude is true worship. When I say thank you I am elevating the one I say thank you to higher than myself. If I don’t say thank you I am silently saying that of course you would do that for me I deserve it or I am better than you. If we do not live in gratitude before God we are silently saying that we deserve what we get from Him, when in actuality we deserve nothing and we can do nothing if it wasn’t for Jesus our Creator.

John 15:5 (NLT) — 5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

Be Inspired Hilltop!

P.S. I do thank the Lord for Cleo:)

    Pastor Dan,
Greetings! I didn’t know how to get in touch with you, but I was wondering if you could send me the paper that you wrote about for praying on the armor of God that you mentioned in the “Still Standing” Part 2 sermon on August 26th.
Also a very Happy Birthday CLEO!!!
