Psalm 99:6 (NLT) — 6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also called on his name. They cried to the Lord for help, and he answered them.

This verse is a huge encouragement for me to keep praying. Why, you might ask? If the Lord heard those guy’s prayers he will hear mine. Moses killed a man. Aaron made a golden calf that the people worshiped. Samuel really lacked in parenting skills. His boys were appointed as judges over Israel but they were greedy for money, they accepted bribes and they perverted justice(1 Samuel 8:1-3).

These guys were had faults. They were flawed. They failed. But they also had faith and God answered their prayers used them for His glory. I have faults. I am flawed. I have failed. I also have faith in God and that means that he will answer my prayers and use me for His glory.

Do you fall into the fault, flawed, failed and faith category? Then be encouraged because it means that God will answer your prayers and use you for His glory:)
