Okay so the first few chapters in Chronicles isn’t the most exciting of reads. It is like walking through chest high water, it takes effort. But the Holy Spirit reminded me that:

All scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16)

God keeps track of all of his people. He delights in every detail of our lives.  No one slips through the cracks. They are all precious to Him.

God kept his promise to Abraham and he did become the Father of many nations.

God did bring his people into the land that he had promised. God always fulfills His promises.

God did go before them to defeat their enemies. Nothing is too difficult for the Lord.

God loves our praise and worship and he had people specifically set apart to lead the people in song to Him.

God scattered the Levites throughout the land so that all the people could be ministered the word of God(1Chron.6:55-81). He insured that the Word would be available to all. God leaves no one in the dark.

God doesn’t sugar coat scripture. He tells the good along with the bad.

God was faithful to provide all that his people would need even when they weren’t faithful to Him. There is no lack with God.

God lived among His people as was indicated by the tabernacle and later the temple. God is not ashamed to be with His people.

This same God is our God. Don’t you just love God?

Hebrews 13:8 (NLT) — 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

James 1:17 (NLT) — 17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

Psalm 102:25–27 (NLT) — 25 Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. 26 They will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will change them like a garment and discard them. 27 But you are always the same; you will live forever.
