Hooray its Monday! You feel that way right? You don’t? How come? Cleo thinks that chocolate it God’s way of making up for Mondays! Someone else said, ” If each day is a gift I’d like to know where I can go to return Mondays:(” Here are a couple more Monday quotes: Monday won’t be so gloomy if you believe that something good is always bound to happen. And Every Monday is a chance to start a new life, so use it.

I found some good Monday material in Psalm 103. In fact the whole Psalm is good Monday material but I just chose a couple of verses and probably not the obvious ones.

Psalm 103:16–17 (NLT) — 16 The wind blows, and we are gone— as though we had never been here. 17 But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children

The winds of Monday can’t blow away the love that the Lord has for you. Meditate on that while you have your coffee. Children are more apt to get saved when they see you affected more by the love of the Lord than by what day of the week it is.

Psalm 103:19 (NLT) — 19 The Lord has made the heavens his throne; from there he rules over everything.

Yep even on Mondays the Lord is there on his throne ruling. He isn’t in a bad mood or suffering from a hangover. God is good and God is love. He is the same yesterday, today (Monday) and forever!

Psalm 103:20 (NLT) — 20 Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.

Father, even though it is Monday, give me the ears of angels that I might hear what you are saying to me and obey with joy and enthusiasm.

Happy Monday:)

Be Inspired Hilltop!

P.S. If Monday is strong coffee, don’t despair and add a few pieces of sugar to make it tasty and sweet!

Psalm 119:103 (NLT) — 103 How sweet your words taste to me; they are sweeter than honey.

I can’t help but comment today. I must admit that I actually am glad when Monday’s roll around. Being a nurse and doing shift work I never had the dread of having to return to work on Monday. The reason I like Monday is that the routine of the week begins on Monday…the kids go back to school, the hubby goes to work 🙂 , I get into the rhythm of my week. Now that I am older, one of the things I’m happy about on Monday is that Pastor Dan starts his weekly blog on Monday!

    Right on Mary Ann!
    Thank you, Pastor Dan!
