In light of the blog on grace yesterday; here are some fresh prayers that you can pray for all people. I prayed these today over my family, my Hilltop family and over all Americans.

2 Timothy 2:21 (NLT) — 21 If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

Father grant us the grace today to keep ourselves pure. Grace us to be special utensils that you can use for your honor and glory. Grace us to keep clean and be ready for you to use us for every good work. Show us today the good works that we should be involved in.

2 Timothy 2:22 (NLT) — 22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Grace us Father to be able to run from anything that would stimulate youthful lusts. Grace us with the desire and ability to pursue righteous living. Grace us to be faithful to you, and to be full of your love and peace. Grace us the ability to enjoy our brothers and sisters in Christ.

2 Timothy 2:23 (NLT) — 23 Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights.

Grace us so that we don’t get involved in foolish and ignorant arguments. Grace us to stay away from provoking fights but instead help us to bring your peace into every situation.

2 Timothy 2:24 (NLT) — 24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.

Father grace us to not be quarrelsome but instead grace us to be peacemakers.  Anoint us with your grace so that kindness would ooze from us at all times. Help us to be able to teach your truths and to be patient with difficult people who are bent on not receiving the truth.

2 Timothy 2:25 (NLT) — 25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth.

Father grace us with gentleness when we come under opposition. Grace those who hear the truth to receive it and have their hearts changed.

2 Timothy 2:26 (NLT) — 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

Father I pray for every nation, tribe and tongue that you would pour out your grace on them so that they would come to their senses like the prodigal son did and that they would escape being trapped by the devil. Father there are so many Americans that are being held captive by the devil to do what he wants. Pour out your freeing grace that they might turn from their sins, turn to God and believe in Jesus.

Titus 2:11–13 (NLT) — 11 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. 12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, 13 while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Father may this be true for all people that they would turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. Thank you. Grace us all to live in this world with wisdom, righteousness and devotion to God. Grace us to look forward with hope to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
